The rooms of our old Marian Wing hold many memories, and they echo the voices that have long since gone to sleep in Christ.

We imagine that they would tell a very busy and ever-changing tale.  This wing of our building has been infirmary space, academy space and guest space to name just a few uses over the last several decades.

The tin ceilings that adorned the rooms added artistic beauty. The wooden fixtures added warmth.  Now the tiles are down and stored room by room to retain the patterns waiting for a future use.  The wood is being used for other needs.

Each of us living through this is feeling the dismantling of “what was” on many levels and in all kinds of ways.  None of us can echo all that these rooms have held.  We hope in a future filled with new voices and sounds of joy.
