When growing up waterskiing on a nearby lake, glass-smooth water was a gift you didn’t waste.
It provided the best conditions and didn’t last too far into the day. Going skiing early meant getting cold but also having the first – and possibly the best – run of the day before breakfast.
This water puddle is as reflective as glass – smooth and unruffled. It shows the minute details of the new entryway.
It also reflects the rainy weather that we have had last week. Fortunately, everything is beginning to dry out so we can get back on schedule.
