Mother Teresa once stated that we are not asked to do great things in this life, just small things with great love. Evidence of small things being done with great love abounds here.
Our own Sister Judy and cook, Sue, are doing just that as they clean dozens of window blinds front and back, one slat at a time.
It is tedious, and they are doing this in our serving room, which doesn’t have air conditioning. The 90+ degree temperatures have made it especially stifling.
Fans are moving the air, and cool drinks are helping. When we re-hang the blinds after the renovations, I know we Sisters will be ever grateful for their sacrifices.
