Friends in Christ, Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration have been a living presence in the Diocese since 1874. They are a contemplative community whose lives are dedicated to continued prayer for the needs of all people, of all places and of all times. Since 1910 the Sisters have supplied countless parishes with Altar Breads and most recently are providing breads for celiac communicants. Currently the Sisters are embarking on a renovation campaign to downsize and renovate their monastery to make it energy efficient and provide better accessibility for the elderly Sisters. I have personally met with their leadership and heartily aprove of this project and their continued ministry of prayer which is essential for our diocese and our Church. Please be generous in your financial support of our Sister whose prayers for you are unceasing. |
