Comfort and healing: These are our prayers for the people of Joplin, Missouri, La Crosse, Wisconsin, and other areas that were ravaged by severe storms this weekend.

We pray for timely and necessary emergency action and help.  We ask you to join in our prayers, not just for this recent storm’s casualties but also for those who continue to linger without enough help – Haiti, Japan and the southern United States.  NOW is the time to see the human family united in hope and in trust in God’s graciousness.

In other news around the monastery….

It looks like the work crew is trying to make this air duct fit into a round hole.  Not so.

They are just utilizing the rounded window area for the duct to save some time and money.  It seems logical and pretty smart to us.

New duct work is being installed

The number of air ducts to install keeps growing in a new mechanical room in the basement.

The ducts are wrapped once they are installed

Ducts on the Third Floor are now being wrapped in insulation.  There is more to install and more to wrap.  I wonder how many miles of this equipment will be installed once it is all in???
