Spring!

Spring has sprung! I am so glad… this winter seemed to be an endless stretch of cold gray days.

I am sorry for my long silence on the blog. It has been a busy time. I am still in Chicago but the school year is drawing to a close. It is hard to believe! Time has gone by quickly. As much as I missed home and the monastic schedule, I have truly come to see this time in Chicago as a gift. I have learned so many very helpful things for my work in formation. I have made some wonderful new friends who will be great resources and support to me. I have also come to treasure even more my monastic vocation and call.

Shortly after I am finished here in Chicago I will return to Clyde for a brief visit. Then, I will pack my bags and head to our monastery in Tucson, Arizona. We are temporarily moving the formation program there while the Clyde monastery is under renovations. It will be a new adventure. I find myself growing less nervous and more excited as the time comes closer for the move. Praise God!

In just about a week we will begin the celebration of the holiest days of the year. I wish you all many many graces and blessings. Happy Easter!
