…since I last posted!

I just returned from some vacation time with my famly as we celebrated the wedding of my niece.  It was so nice to gather for this joyful occassion.  The bride was beautiful, the groom was handsome, love was in the air, and a good time was had by all.

Meanwhile…. back in the monastery

This summer looks like it will be busy on the vocation front.  We have three women visiting us this month to discern their vocation.  Please pray for them!  We will also host our annual summer monastic experience July 8-14th.  Please spread the word to any women you know who might be interested.

It was 11(!) years ago, the summer of 1998, that I came to Clyde for a week long monastic experience.  Since then, I have always looked forward to this week of summer.  I hope that I can inspire and encourage the young women that come to visit in the same way I was inspired when I came.  The very first night of the retreat, I felt God welcome me home.  I knew deep down that this was where I belonged.   It took another six months for that information to get from my heart to my head but at last it did and here I am!

We have been enjoying beautiful spring weather which alternates with some terrific spring thunderstorms!  The garden is well underway and we are all eager for the fresh produce it promises.  Hope you all are enjoying the last weeks of spring!  Blessings!
